VINTAGE I. MAGNIN PINK HAT BOX BLACK WHITE STRAW HAT

Description

Beautiful vintage Betmar black and white straw hat.  Also a VERY BEAUTIFUL and VERY RARE pink I. Magnin box.
The hat is in very good vintage condition other than the rim has a few rough edges (can be trimmed).  The hat box is in very good vintage condition other than the top of it has some spots and some scratches (on the I. Magnin name) and also a few small scuffs on the sides of it.  The bottom isn't completely attached on one side even though it pushes all the way down.  Looks like it was made that way.  The inside is in great condition with just one or two small spots.  Comes with tissue paper.  It's really a beautiful hat box and in amazing condition for it's age.  Hard to tell from the pics, but it's kind of peach pink color with a satin shine, so it isn't matte (almost looks pearlized in certain lights).
The hat will fit most small to medium size heads with some combs or pins.  My head measures 22 1/2" and it fits snug.  The box measures approx. 16" round and 8" high.
