Vintage EFFANBEE LITTLE LADY COMPOSITION DOLL;27”,sleep eyes,fully jointed.
DESCRIPTION: this Is a beautiful doll; she has beautiful blue eyes that open and close easily and she still has all of her real eyelashes and you still see her painted lower eyelashes along with her painted eyebrows please look at all the pictures so you can follow along with what I’m saying. Her black wig is glued on and no I did not take it off because it damages the composition when you do that but you can tell in the pictures that the doll has no cracks and very minimal crazing she’s been well taken care of all her fingers are original none of them have been replaced she has the big fat fingers that are separated. She has no markings on her anywhere but as you can see she looks like the other Anne Shirley dolls; I can’t find the information enough to see if this is one of the Montgomery Ward dolls because the Montgomery Ward dolls had human hair wigs and this doll does not. Let’s talk about what she’s wearing; the dress itself if you look at the pictures has on the outside layer holes that are in the sheer part of the fabric which is unfortunate but the second layer the silk layer is fine she’s also wearing an apron now this is how I received the doll I don’t know if this apron goes with her or not but it could but that’s how I received her. The black velvet top of the dress does not have any holes in it and as you can see the top of the dress does angle at the top to one side I don’t know if the slip is supposed to be pulled up to look like that that’s the way I’ve always done it that is a separate slip she’s wearing. her panties are her original ones; The white tights with the hearts on them I added those are not original to the doll and neither are the shoes there patten leather not the traditional standard sandals that you normally see on these dolls; Please do not hesitate to ask any questions I will get back to you and she comes from a home where no one smokes
