MANY OF THE PRE-2015 PANELS SUPPORTED USING THIS TRANSMITTER (AND ARE SUGGEST REPLACEMENTS FOR "LIKE TYPE" TRANSMITTER REPLACEMENTS OR EXPANSION). PERFECT FOR ALARM AND TROUBLE CONDITION TRANSMITTERS. OF COURSE, IT CAN ALWAYS BE USED ALSO ON THE CP-3600/CP-3600+ PANELS TOO!

I’ll break down the difference between each transmitter – the 330 and the 340 are almost identical the only major difference is that the 330 has a lower maximum operation temperature while the 340 has an increased operation temperature. The difference between 340 and 340 TS is how they tamper, one has a mercury tamper switch (device must always be in a horizontal position) while the 340 TS has a spring tamper switch (can be placed either vertical or horizontal). The 330, 340, and 340 TS can only be programmed as an alarm or supervisory through the panel.
The 345 /345 TS Transmitter and the 340/340 TS Transmitter are identical in how they operate, the only major difference is that the 345/345 TS now has a jumper located in the main board to follow you to configure as a trouble or an alarm which the previous versions did not. See below for a breakdown of each transmitter and which panel they are compatible with.
330 Transmitter
·         Has a mercury tamper switch
·         Must be on a horizontal position at all times; if not device will tamper and show a trouble on the panel
·         Operation temperature of 32 to 120 degrees
·         Can only be programmed as an alarm or supervisory through panel
·         Only works on CP3000 Panel
340 Transmitter
·         Has a mercury tamper switch
·         Must be on a horizontal position at all times; if not device will tamper and show a trouble on the panel
·         Has an increased operation temperature of 32 to 145 (more than 330)
·         Can only be programmed as an alarm and supervisory through the panel
·         Only works on CP3000 (A)(D)(DA)
340 TS Transmitter
·         Has a spring tamper switch
·         Can be placed in either horizontal or vertical position
·         Device will only tamper if the cover/lid of the device is removed
·         Operation Temp 32 to 145
·         Can only be programmed as an alarm and supervisory through the panel
·         Only works on CP3000 (A)(D)(DA)
