    The m
    anual extinguishant release unit is a composite fire detection system designed to meet the demanding conditions experienced in marine and mobile environments. The unit provides both visible and audible indication of a fire condition when heat detectors located in the monitored area are activited.
    The panel has a push-button with flap guard to manually operate the extinguishant release. An ISOLATE switch is fited to minimise the possibility of accidental operation during maintenance or testing procedures.
    The green POWER LED indicates the system is connected to the power source, The detector loop is continuously monitored for open circuit faults and the FAULT LED provides instant indication of a disconnection in the line.
    The fitting of a pressure switch on the extinguishant cylinder provides constant monitoring of extinguishant availability and is indicated by the yellow PRESSURE LED.
