#1177 Little Bo Peep
produced by Effanbee around 1987. She comes in the later pink box. Classic pink and white floral outfit with side paniers and a broad brimmed sunbonnet. Special hairdo with curls around face and a skinny ponytail. Carries a shepherd’s crook. Even has original plastic on feet to ensure shoes stayed on.
Measures between 11 inches and 12 inches tall.  Has a 5-piece jointed all-vinyl straight leg non-walker body.  Rosy cheeks and a porcelain complexion.  The vinyl has such a lovely smooth finish on these dolls.  Sleep eyes with brush lashes.  Rooted hair.  Marked on back and neck "Effanbee".
The 11-12" size is perfect for showing off in a cabinet or on a shelf but don't forget these are a great size for play as well and they were produced in the USA.  Wholesome, classic dolls in timeless character costumes.
Condition Issues:
couple dings to box but doll is mint.
No Smells.  No fading.
