Effanbee Babykin, Never Played With, All-Orig Vinyl Drink/Wet Doll, 8 Inch, 1964

Description

This auction is for a sweet, all-original Effanbee Babykin doll from 1964.  This is an 8-inch vinyl drink and wet doll similar to Madame Alexander’s Little Genius doll from the late 1950’s which has never been played with.  This is Stock No. 2151 which denotes the doll dressed in the christening gown.
This lovely doll has high cheek color, all of the original face paint, and blue-grey eyes.  She is jointed at the neck, shoulders, and hips.  There are some stains on the left side of the head from the bonnet--these do not show when the doll is dressed and wearing her bonnet.
The doll comes dressed in a white flannel diaper, white nylon socks, a white taffeta slip and white organdy christening gown with matching organdy bonnet with blue ribbon ties.  She comes with her baby bottle and original wrist tag.
This is a cute baby doll in a great small size.

This item is being sold "as found" from a local estate sale.  Please look carefully at the pictures and ask any questions.  The item has no discernible smell--not smoky or musty.  My home is non-smoking and pet free, but I have no information about the environment of any previous owners.
